Calling all Dell-ites. :)

Can you check out my service tag and make sure the warranty info is all kosher? I just called in for some plastics replacement (sorry, Unkaphaed, I don't know yur hours today :) )and while I got the replacement, there was a wierd discussion about DFS warranties not applying to the computers anymore.

I was always told that as long as the warranty transfer was done, you had it. Period. The tech I talked to seemed to think that the Gold Warranty that came with the laptop (and the main reason I bought the thing) doesn't transfer.

He went ahead with the service, but I just want to make sure he didn't do the service with a note that says "Gold Warranty Support no longer applies to this computer."

The only thing other than the problem listed in the notes is that this was a DFS system. It is still showing up as gold with the little pop up box but it is not tagged or anything like that
