At least I'm relieved to know I'm not the only one having problems staying logged in. IE forgets the second I leave the login page - I've deleted cookies and everything. I have to use Netscape to make any entries. Blah.
>For the record, I consider Mac OS X to be a much better desktop UNIX than Linux.
I find it MUCH more useful than my time on Fedora Core 4. FC4 was nice, but incredibly hard to DO anything in. OSX has the customizability of Unix, but with the reliability of Macintosh. Basically - It Just Works (tm). ;)

Date: 2006-01-24 07:07 pm (UTC)This is exactly how I've described using OS X. It does what I want it to do -- and if I really wanna work it, well, there's always Terminal.
(Which reminds me, I really ned to finish reading this e-book I have on UNIX on Mac OSX.)
Cheers,
