Silly Jenn Fact: If given acidy citrusy type fruit (also Watermelon), I will salt that thing until it tastes like gatorade. I'll do the same for juices.

One of my fave drinks is to take watermelon puree, add cumin, mint and SO MUCH SALT.

Well, that's a Dr Who spoiler from the main site that I shouldn't have seen.

So, that new job I'm doing?

Kinda liking it.

Also: I don't think I've ever slept 21 hours before. With a few breaks on and off, but it was about 21 hours of recovery sleep.

12:00, Jenn: "I should try some more solid food."
12:01, Stomach: "Okay, that's enough."

7AM: Oh, I'm feeling a lot better and should try eating something light, like Chicken Soup.

8AM: Nope. Not better yet.

So, Day 1 and 2 of my new job have been postponed due to stomach virus/ food poisoning .

I've been in bed all day.

Tomorrow, May 5th, I will be entering new realms in my life that I've never been in before. I've dipped my toes in, sure, but tomorrow I dive into the deep end of that pool.

It's going to be exiciting. :)

Funny Story Before Bed

I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't see a thing. Pitch black. No light at all. I waved my hands in front of my face, saw nothing, and in my half asleep state convinced myself I'd gone blind.

Power was out. :)

Because I'm diabetic, I don't get Cream of Wheat very often. But I had some today, and was immediately whipped back to 7AM in my grandmother's house as she made some for us for breakfast. <3

Had some time at the end of my day, so I decided to fire up Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom for the first time in months.

My goodness I forgot how much I don't enjoy that game at all. :/

Okay. Today's episode of Dr Who? "Lux?"

Calling it as the best Ncuti Gatwa episode so far. Loved every minute of it, and there's a moment at the middle that had me litrerally howling in laughter out loud then getting a lump in my throat seconds later.

GREAT episode. Highly recommend. Even if I had a better ending in my head than what we got. Which wasn't bad at all.
